Benefit options selected during open enrollment will remain in effect until December 31, unless you experience an Eligible Qualifying Event.

Employee Education Meetings

Each year, LSR7 hosts informational sessions where representatives from Business Services, CBIZ (the District's insurance consultants) and Blue Cross Blue Shield present benefit information, details, and outline changes for the new plan year. Also providing an opportunity for you to ask questions. 

For 2021 Open Enrollment, Employee Educational sessions were held VIRTUALLY via Zoom as follows:

Virtual Enrollment Assistance

Each year, LSR7 Business Services staff host annual Enrollment Assistance. During these times, you have the opportunity to ask  general questions and receive assistance completing your enrollment. 

Because of social distancing requirements, instead of face-to-face assistance as in the past, this year our assistance was virtual.

Employees and retirees will have the opportunity to schedule an appointment for assistance with representatives from LSR7 Business Services and CBIZ (the district's insurance consultant). 

For 2022 Open Enrollment, virtual enrollment assistance appointments will be available during these times: 

November 2 and 4, 2021 From 12:00 - 4:00 PM
November 3 and 5, 2021 From 8:00 - 11:00 AM 
November 8 through 10, 2021 From 1:00 - 5:00 PM 

How to Enroll

All eligible employees, including new hires, must complete the on-line enrollment process, even if you wish to keep the same coverage or are waiving coverage. If you do not complete your enrollment by the deadline given to you by the District, you will not have coverage for the entire plan year.
Your enrollment will be completed on-line and you may complete your enrollment from any computer which has internet access.
Pop-up blockers must be turned off on your computer in order to complete the on-line enrollment process.
To enroll, follow these steps to ensure completion of your enrollment:

  1. Review the information contained on our website at and in the Benefit Guide to assist you in making your benefit choices for 2022.
  2. Click on Enroll Now to begin your benefits enrollment.
  3. Log in with your user ID and PIN. Your user ID and PIN are as follows:
    User ID: Your User ID is the first letter of your legal first name, first letter of your last name, and the last four digits of your social security number. For example, John Smith, SSN ending in 1234: User ID is JS1234
    PIN: Your PIN is equal to your date of birth. Enter two digits for month, two digits for day and four digits for year. For example, date of birth of March 10, 1980: PIN is 03101980
  4. Once logged in, click on “Enroll/Change your benefits,” then click on “Plan Year Beginning January 1, 2022” and then click on “Health and Welfare Benefits Enrollment” to make elections for 2022. Work through the site by following the on-line instructions.
  5. Upon completion of Step 4, a confirmation statement will appear on the page. If the information is accurate, print a copy for your records and then click “Confirm.” You will then receive a confirmation number. Write this number down or print the page for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation number, your insurance elections will not be processed.
  6. For first time Health Savings Account Enrollees (High Deductible Health Plan Enrollees only): If you are electing to have the District’s contribution deposited into a Health Savings Account (HSA) for the first time, then you must set up your HSA through Central Bank of the Midwest by following these steps.

The District will make contributions only to Central Bank of the Midwest HSA accounts.

Summary of 2022 Changes
  • On the EPO plan, the In-Network annual deductible of$1,000 for individuals and $2,000 for family is being added. After deductible, coinsurance of 20% will apply until the new out-of-pocket maximums of $6,500 individual / $13,000 family are satisfied.

  • Annual Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution limits increasing to $3,650 for individuals and $7,300 for families enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan
  • Exciting changes are coming soon to the Complete Health & Wellness Center (CH&WC) Patient Portal and the way appointments are scheduled. To accommodate training and the transition, the CH&WC will be closed November 1 - 6, 2021. Stay tuned for more information!
