An AHA provides a current evaluation of your overall health through a fasting, 28-panel fasting venipuncture blood draw and will help to identify potential health risks. We encourage you to complete your AHA screening and questionnaire as it can provide you with valuable health and wellbeing information. Knowledge of your health numbers empowers you to make healthy decisions and gives you a head start on fighting potential health issues to live a longer, healthier life!

All employees enrolled in a district medical plan are eligible to participate in a CareHere AHA Health Screening at no cost. Your AHA screening will include weight, blood pressure and a fasting, 28-panel venipuncture blood draw. No food or drink except water for 10 hours before your screening. If you arrive to your screening and have not been fasting, you will NOT be able to complete the health screening.
Be sure to drink plenty of water prior to your appointment time!

Within 3 - 5 days following your appointment, you will receive an email notifying you that your lab results are ready to review, in a detailed AHA summary booklet, available in your patient portal.
Be sure your settings for email notifications in the CareHere portal or App are not turned off!
Rest assured, this is the same booklet you've previously received in the mail each year. The be conscious of the environment, booklets will not be printed and mailed. However, the electronic version will be available in a print-friendly format if you would like to print it.
If your email has not arrived within 5 days, your results can be found on CareHere.com by clicking "Labs" from the "Heath & Wellness" drop-down or through the "Labs" button on the CareHere App.
