The health and wellness center will treat acute illness and minor injuries, prescribe medications, assist with chronic conditions, provide preventive care exams and focus on supporting the overall health of employees, retirees and their families. The center will also assist in treating work-related injuries.
The center offers primary care services and is not intended to replace your current primary care physician relationship; rather it is intended to provide a convenient and affordable option to receive immediate health care, supplement your current primary care physician relationship and provide preventive health and wellness services.
In compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), your personal health information is completely confidential and will not be shared with the District.
By utilizing the services of the health and wellness center, employees and LSR7 retirees can directly impact the amount of medical claims paid by Blue Cross Blue Shield, which helps minimize future health insurance premiums.
The following individuals participating in an LSR7 health plan are eligible to receive care in the Complete Health & Wellness Center:
- District Employees
- District pre-Medicare Retirees
- District COBRA/LTD participants
- Dependents over the age of 2
All employees, regardless of enrollment, will be able to access the Complete Health & Wellness Center for work-related injuries and occupational health services.
